This trail starts off on a gentle path, then the elevation gain is quick through a well forested terrain. You will cross over two bridges, one over the Miette River, another over a creek. The trail has been maintained recently, which made our biking a great choice that day.
This is the same trailhead if you are looking to head towards Elysium Pass, the trail is well marked at every junction.
