Located in the majestic Maligne Valley, this exquisite lake is the second largest glacier-fed lake in the Rockies, stretching 22km(14 mi.). A one-and-a-half hour boat cruise will take you past glacier-studded mountains peaks to world-famous Spirit Island.

Try your hand at guided fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and whitewater rafting. The starting point of both the classic Skyline Trail, a spectacular three day hike that takes you 45km over the Maligne Range to a maximum elevation of 2490m, and the Maligne Pass Trail, a three day hike to km72 on the Icefields Parkway.  Superb cross-country skiing and Telemark skiing in the winter.   Restaurant and shopping facilities are seasonal.
