Red Fox
These creatures don’t show up very often, so this was a lucky capture at Old Fort Point. He was just going about chasing squirrels and rodents for food.
Red fox is one of the most important fur bearing animals harvested for the fur trade, it could have been one of the sought after pelts back in the fur trading days.
