Near Marmot Basin
Just a short walk of the Marmot Basin road last bend just before the Marmot gates. There is no official parking, so when you park your vehicle in that corner, make sure the traffic is not blocked. The parking is now banned from the corner due to traffic safety. Becareful where you park, the shoulders around there are soft and you may get stuck.
It is a nice view from the cliffs, another warning, it is not maintained and falling off that cliff will not end well.
As for the winter here, there are ice climbers that frequent this area. Ask around the local shops for the status of the ice.
It is one of those hidden hideaways where the local ice climbers dawn on crampons and ice picks when the water fall is frozen. Neat gem for a picnic with a view.
